Pragati, YOU NEED to postpone your test.

Furthermore, you need to go through UWORLD at least once the full time through. I would suggest going through it twice! U world is THE best and most accurate question bank hands down.

If you are having trouble remembering specific facts or topics, sign up for something like Picmonic, where it uses pictures and visuals to help you remember specific facts, pathways, relationships and ideas. It covers microbiology (really good for this), pharmacology (also really good), biochem, pathology and organ systems.

At this point, I would agree that you may want to consider postponing, if you are able to do that.

With the score, do you think your problem is knowledge-related or difficulty with test-taking or both? I'm wondering what resources you have been using to prepare. I also wonder if you can speak with people around you who can advise you a bit more in depth about this.

If the problem is mostly knowledge-related it might be helpful to sit down and try to look at what strategy and tools/books you've used to learn (did you only use Kaplan, UW and FA?). I agree that UWORLD is a nice learning tool, but I think that it take a lot of focus and time to comb through the answers in a way that helps learning. You may want to think about investing in a course or some high-yield books in your weak areas.

If you're getting 50% ish UW, then there's a ton to read and try to understand, which can be overwhelming and frankly boring! I used UW and FA (as a lot of people do) to consolidate knowledge and to try an hammer in the essential pieces of knowledge. The key is to try and learn actively so you can retain!

Hope that helps.
