Default What should be my strategy for step 1 now?

I have completed kaplan lecture notes once along wid pathoma for pathology. Right now I m doing UW (completed 30% of it), and doing FA with it sometimes. Yesterday I purchased UWSA form 2 and scored 211 on it with wide performance bars spread from low to high for all subjects.

I still have to complete UW+FA and my extended eligibility period will end on 31st march. Do you think I am on right track to score 240+ or is it difficult? What should be my strategy now onwards?

You really need to complete FA thoroughly. To be honest your score on UWSA2 is pretty poor if you're aiming for a high score. UWSA over predicts by wide margins when it comes to mid range scores. Take an NBME online and assess yourself. If you get below 235 I really think you should consider postponing. Good luck.

I read many people experiences saying most of their mistakes 're there in FA so try to finish it then solve UW and u 'll see a difference.
good luck

i think you are on the right track. UWSA 2 doesnt mean anything. Just try to see your weak subjects and study more. try nbme at the end of this month. Study for 240 but getting a score above 240 is not only reflection of your study and spent time. You need luck, really good test taking skills and solid background of basic sciences from medical school. So try for 240 even 250-260, but do not make your uw scores let you down, take nbme if you are around 230, you are in good shape if not you still have 1 n half month to study you can do it!

If you're weak in something, lets say Pharm or Micro, you need to review that area! First Aid is a great outline if you know information pretty well. If you don't, sit down with Robbins to quickly read about a disease.

Honestly, I think reading first aid with Picmonic is a great idea. Picmonic uses audiovisual queues to help you remember information way better than with text. It's so easy it feels like cheating.
