Unhappy Current IMG taking Exam in 1 month, please help!!!!

Dear USMLE Community,

I am geared to write the exam first week of April. Should I delay? ANd if yes, by how many months? What should I do specifically during that time period?

Stats so far:
NBME Form 12 (142) on 2.28.13
Prometric Practice Test (149) on 8.23.13
UW % = 52% still have 35% of Qs to finish.

I have finished basic sciences, taken a review and have gone through almost all Kaplan notes and videos (although, i am not sure how much i concretely remember)

Thank you in advance for your reply.

DO FA and uworld as many times as u can ....
IF you face any concept problem go back to your kaplan notes and clear it first.
I think you should delay your exam

This is what I would do if in your situation:

Finish DIT only if you have plenty of time left. IMHO it will not help you neither with the NBME nor the real test.

Do USMLERx with FA (annotate) ---It is the best way to see an improvement in your NBME score with minimum amount of time and effort.

Stop UW for the time being (since you have already done it once) and ONLY do USMLERx with FA since it is the best way to solidify FA concepts.

Look up, read & understand the concepts behind the topics you get the questions wrong from review books (HY Neuroanatomy, BRS Physiology etc) or reference books like Robbins basic Pathology etc.

Take another NBME and you should see a rise in your NBME score and you will be more confident

After this, start doing UW again with Pathoma and FA (Read your notes).

This should improve your score even further.

Doing this book or that course is not going to help you to know your weaknesses but you can find that out yourself by this method.

Bottonline is that by doing USMLERx you will not only solidify FA concepts but also find out your weak areas and all you need to do is to work on them.
