I have finished 50% of the Qbank, but someone told me that it was useless...
I am sure it helps me to harmer many facts in FA...
Is it true that the Qbank is useless?

Thumbs Up

I did about 70% of usmleRx till the exam as my last qbank and I have to say that I found it a very good qbank, maybe the questions are shorter than in kaplanqbank and usmeworld, but some questions are challenging and great to memorize concepts. I scored 84% in usmle RX and 250 in my real exam...I don't know if usmleRx helped me to reach my target score, but it's not useless at all. Nothing is useless, do as many questions as you can from different qbanks. This is my advice. Of course usmleworld is the best qbank, surely a "must", but in the real exam you can find questions of different style...

Thanx very much! My NBME13 score is 235, and I feel really impossile to reach 250. I don't think the QS are tough for me, but i made many stupid mistakes every time when i take NBME test. And i am afraid of making similar stupid mistates in real exam. Do you have any ideas about how to get 250+?

I scored 240 in my nbmes, except in my last one (nbme12) in which I scored 242 a week before my exam.Keep reading FA and do as many q u can. U are scoring well. Don't worry too much! I read FA a lot of times, at least five, annotating many concepts from kaplan and qbanks....and did only FA (which was like a bible for me ) and a lot questions in the last phase of my preparations...do as many questions as u can and concentrate on FA and few other resources. Ciao!

Guys, i have been doing usmlerx for 3 weeks but i think the question are very very hard. I really struggle especially with pharmacology. But everybody keeps telling me how easy usmlerx is. Do i have to cancel subscription and read kaplan lecture notes 1 more time?

Rx is easier than KAPLAN QBANK on most of the Qs. If you feel tough to do it, that means you are still not familiar with the knowledge listed in FA. Unlike the nobody-knows-over-detailed Qs in Kaplan Qbank, most of the Qs in Rx are from FA. So i suggest you read more FA and i can promise that if you can master 80% facts in FA, you will reach 230+ when you take NBME tests. Good luck!

Thank you for your response! I mean i am not really bad at test. I think my test taking skills are good. My usmlerx cumulative is not very bad 78% with 250 estimated score but the thing is i really struggle with some questions. I havent finished fa yet. If i read fa *2 times do you think it will really affect my usmlerx and nbme performance ? Thank you

More familiar with the facts in FA means you can finish Qs more quikely, and that means you have more time to struggle with the harder Qs.
