I wonder why some people finish one block with 4 hours while other require more than 8 (twice what some people need) why is there a big difference

Perfectly agree. About 90% + is in FA.

Having said that, I have to alert u by saying that, they way the questions are asked would let u get them wrong and then later u would realised probably u didn't know FA all that well as u thought. That's how the game goes.

hmm I will start by next week with the uwrold , all what I want is to finish 1 block per six hours ! If I couldnt do so I would be screwd but the poll makes me optimistic since there are 19 votes under 6 hours and 6 votes only more than 6 hours

Question please answer

How may blocks are there in UW step1 and number of tests in total?
I want to make my plan

and what would you advise?

Is it possible to take 2 blocks a day making notes (if needed) and watching DIT in between those 2 blocks?

For me it takes me up to 6 hrs sometimes! B/c I look for the answer in 1st Aid and highlight them in a special color to emphasize on their importance and add notes if needed
Most of information of uworld exist in 1st aid but u need to look for them and add some notes

The statistics are not accurate as some ppl didn't study anything other than 1st Aid ( for which it takes them longer to finish a block )

I think there are 46 blocks iirc..

Your speed will depend much on how much you have to absorb from UW and how much further you go into concepts and that is the main reason for the difference in time required to complete the blocks from person to person, given their different knowledge levels and exploratory obsessions. I started with 2 days for a block but by the end, I didn't require a 2nd round of UW.. Felt I had exhausted it.

My humble suggestion is to have a greater emphasis on feeling the satisfaction of completing a block rather that time required (if you are not pressed for time and I would not say if you are aiming higher, as everybody is)

Good luck!
