hi

So I did look at the First Aid Cases for the USMLE Step 1 book
and I really doubt it is useful for the exam

Yeah I did bought FA Q&A and I think it's really exam related but the cases book is not good.

What do you think?

FA Cases Must Have!

to all the fresheez!
herez a major piece of advice! if u planning on to sticking with FA and UW for ur Step 1 prep. I would suggest u to get ur hands on First Aid Cases for USMLE Step 1. do it with ur first read of FA. its an excellent book. prepares u for the storm which comes with UW! it warms u up real good. its simple and easy book. not a big brainer. not so consuming. yet very fruitful. considering it puts ur FA knowledge in Question Form!
In fact if I'm not wrong. these Cases were actually present in the old versions of FA. but they have removed it now and compiled it in this Book form.
Again it won't be needed who have done or are doing USMLE Rx or Kaplan Qbank or any other Qbank before they do their UWORLD. just for those Who jump directly to UW as their Major learning tool!!
goodluck

UCV= Underground clinical vignettes. It the same set up as the FA cases and it also from the same authors of FA but there are a ton more cases as they dedicate a book to each subject. I currently have 4 of those books given to my a friend along with the FA cases and I have no idea how to use them...
