Hi Guys,

I just finished my Kaplan series first reading and videos

Will start doing questions with my revision, but thing is that I have a Qbook and the Qbank.

What's the difference between both?

Which one we are supposed to do?

Qbook is a book published by Kaplan Medical every two years. It has over 850 questions arranged into subject-specific and random blocks.

Qbank is the online question bank provided by Kaplan Medical and it has over 2500 questions that is very high yield for the exam.

Why the qbank is better?
  • Regular updates: Qbank is updated with new questions frequently to reflect the current exam style while the book is updated once every two years.
  • Customizing questions and blocks: which you can't done in the book.
  • Timed Mode: although you can use your table clock in the book, the qbank version gives complete control on the timed mode of your blocks.
  • FRED-Like interface: Qbank gives exam-like interface with latest FRED V2 while the book is just a book and cannot do that.
  • Performance analysis: while you can see your percentage manually in the book but the qbank gives detailed analysis of your performance.
  • Video explanations: to many of the qbank questions, obviously not seen in the book.
  • Multimedia (video/audio): questions seen in the qbank are not available in the print edition, even image questions are usually lacking in qbook.
