Default Test taking...panic mode

Did anybody ever try Propranolol 5mg or less for test taking...
I quite often do question and while thinking about the answer I take a look at the timer and get nervous, and then I have to read the question again and just start a panic mode. I know I could score better if this freaking out (tachykardia, sweaty hands, nervous flushing) wouldn't happen and if I was just calm, cool and relaxed.
Starting it on the test day would be stupid, but maybe 4 weeks before and see how it works while taking NBMEs etc. or maybe even with a smaller dose...

Atenolol would be be better since it does not cross the BBB and it is a pure B1 blocker (part of the ABEA). It also have a longer half-life. ... I tried taking a half a dose before a NBME and it appears to work well. I have other friends that have tried it too. Just do not take too much or you will lose that clear minded edge.

That's why I would take half of a 10mg to see how it helps. I don't want to be cloudy but maybe just knowing that I took a little (sub therapeutic dose) will help as a placebo...
