Embarrassed Embarassed by my first 10 Kaplan Qbank Questions

Kindly someone advice me actually I am doing Kaplan notes and watch those video I am unable to understand Kaplan.

Today I met one of my seniors in a cafe as he was practicing Kaplan Qbank so I asked him can I use it for 10 min as I'll buy it in future so I attempted ten questions he let me use it to my surprise questions were so different than kaplan notes I had finished path a day ago so I thought to check it out of it i guess only half were right and I felt so lost like they were asking new things and I got confused and I thought doing kaplan notes should have made me score well but I felt so embarrassed to ask him is this normal not to know questions of bank initially with time ill improve..

I feel I wasted so much time memorising kaplan notes that I didnt practice any q bank my genetic and behaviour is left iam planning after giving one reading ill buy kaplan then u world is 3 month q practice enough for exam i am so depressed my sir had score80 percent in test when I saw mine I felt so bad

Default It's okay!

Pretty much everyone I know scored 50% or less on Kaplan qbank in their first weeks of using it. Don't get freaked out! The best thing about doing the question banks is seeing what you get wrong and reading the explanations. More than anything else, for me, this directs my learning by exposing where my weak points are... When you start doing more questions, you'll see how much you need to understand the concepts, and when you get some practice applying those concepts, the things you've memorized will come back to you. Start Kaplan qbank now and work as much as you can with those for a month before getting UWorld. Take an NBME exam when you are feeling comfortable to see where you stand.

Thumbs Up best of luck

i would say one should start doing qbank after first read ,as doing question make us use our brain in a different style, more like an active learning process, then reading and reading without questions

so dont be scared and start doing question, u can start from kaplan qbook if ur r really scared but as u do more and more questions u ll c urself that how to get the right ans and how to omit the wrong choices,

in question one can see the whole topic in a different view and a time will come u ll start liking doing questions so for now do

75/25 (reading / questions )
then
50/50 (reading /questions)
then
25/75 (reading/questions)
