Ok keep learning as much as you can from uworld (all options from questions).revise your First Aid many times with the annotations you have made thus far.

Write an nbme now to see where you stand (online with extended feedback). 16 is pretty good as it is the newest one. Other options are 11, 13, 15. Images from nbmes show up on exams (according to people who have wrote the exam as stated on this forum).

Go over webpath for path images and make sure you have a firm grasp on murmurs and locations for the interactive portion of the exam. Do the ethics from dr.fischer book. Go through brs behavioural to become comfortable with those formulas for easy marks and go through any other weaknesses you have. Maybe pathoma to reinforce path (if not done already). I think that's all i can think of. Other people will add more to this.

Good luck!

that site is to get comfortable with locations and murmurs and an easy way to break it down in your mind. I heard kaplan HY videos has some interactive so if you can get that, that's good. otherwise, for the most part though, i hear knowing location of the murmurs really helps you answer questions (which is found in First Aid and uworld).

I think you should concentrate on the new nbmes not the new ones. You have limited time so plan accordingly. Nbme forms 7, 11, 12, 13, 15 and 16 are the available forms on the NBME website now. 6 is discontinued.

If you find you are not fully ready for the step. don't write it. The worst part would be to fail or barely pass.

any further questions are welcome.

study hard and ace the step!

i think some other members on here posted some good websites for murmurs. just search for them. I know youtube has some good videos. Just know the location and type of murmurs and you should be able to narrow down the answer choices. Also, first aid and uworld together are very good at aiding you in that.

I would use the new forms not old ones for nbmes. form 6 is now discontinued. you have limited time and using the online version is the best option because of the feedback and the updated scoring system.

if you have any further questions, feel free to ask.
