Drug Oral Contraceptive Pills and Cardiovascular Disease

OK I know that estrogen increases HDL and decreases LDL but progestrone acts the reverse.

1- What would be the net result when we are taking combination estrogen-progesterone OCP?
2- How OCP increases risk of cardiovascular disease?
3- HOW OPC increases risk of DVT? (IS IT THE ANTITROMBINE impairment b/c of estrogen part?)

Is the question not worth of discussion or just others like me do not have the answer?

I don't know about 1 or 2... I guess obviously there would be the increased risk of thrombotic coronary events because of increased arteriothrombosis with OCP, especially in a smoker. Also, don't some synthetic progestins increase CRP levels (I have no source for this, but it rings a bell)?
