Default IMG whats the best for me?

hi every 1, i'm an IMG in china (Jiangxi)

i got Kaplan books+videos but my basics are really poor !! i'm atudying in china as a foreign student and here professors can barely speak English are their lectures are not useful, i'm in my 4th year now and i have no basics like literally zero because we only study one paper and that paper comes in the exam, now i want to prepare for step one, in this case what would you guys suggest ? are Kaplan notes enough for me to understand the basics or i need to find other books ?

someone suggested that i start with Dr.najeeb lectures then read Kaplan notes because he explains the basics very well, any suggestions guys ? please help me guys because i want to pass step one ASAP to do elective for a while before graduation

the big prob with people coming to study in english in a "non-english speaking society". you should have read the books earlier during your undergrad but it is still not too late, do kaplan with vids they are enough. for weak subj like neuro do najeeb.

good luck

Hey abdo2014,
Kaplan is better way to go like the others have already suggested. Watch the videos for each chapter first before reading the corresponding chapter. It also helps to follow this sequence: Anat - Physio - Biochem - Microbio & Immuno - Path - Pharm - Bahav Sci. Repeat it as often as you can and look up difficult concepts on Wikipedia and YouTube for better understanding.

Good Luck!

Hey man I'm also studying in Tianjin, China. The teachers are horrible.

You still have hope. Just keep reading Kaplan notes over and over and over.

Revise with FA.

I know how you feel.
