Bones corticosteroid how affect bone?

how corticosteroid affect osteoclast and osteoblast ?

it increase osteoclast activity but what about osteoblast?

Kaplan says that they decrease osteoblast activity AND also increase osteoclast activity.

Default Calcium metabolism

there is loss of calcium from the bone due to loss of osteoid ( decreased formation and increased resorption )
