Listening Romantic relationships between Dr and Pt

Hello,

Relationship (dating, sex, etc) between a Dr. and Patients are often tested in USMLE. But I can not find any thing in Kaplan's book. Is there another book you can recommend to read up this topic?

Thanks and keep up the good work!

We were taught to never have a relationship. Unless you quit being her doctor and wait 2 years.
Is the Conrad Fisher book the same thing as those last few pages in the behavioral science book?
If not does anyone have a link?

In all purposes of the USMLE examination, just say no everytime.

Yes if a patient intends to have a relationship you completely deny it.
You never say that maybe if you were not my patient then we could have a relationship, because then that leaves a possibility of there being a relationship.
On USMLE, the answer would be an absolute negative

"We can have a relationship if you are not my patient for two years" is a wrong answer.

Doctors shouldn't have romantic relationships; we're supposed to be bookworms!

Just kidding.

But yes, as people here said, the answer is a polite but absolute "NO".

Thank you everyone for your input. Here is the summary for USMLE sake:

Doctor and patient should never have any personal relationships, even after professional relationship terminates!!!
