Default Immunology question!!

Alright so we have 5 isotypes of heavy chains and 2 isotypes of light chains. Now assuming if gamma heavy chain binds to kappa light chain; it will produce an IgG immunoglobulin with kappa light chain right? So if a gamma heavy chain binds to a lambda light chain, we wouldnt see any difference in the idiotype between them then right? I only asked because the book says the isotypes have no play in the formation of idiotypes.

I dont know if I made a fool out of myself for asking this question, but I need to get this concept right. Immunology is driving me crazy!
