Help Low NBME Score - Need to Postpone Exam!

Took NBME 4 Today got just 400, I am planing to take my exam on march 2nd, my average score in uworld is 64% with almost 800 questions still left, I am frustrated I don't want to postpone my exam too much, I knew my weakness bcz I didn't revise pharma and biochem, immuno before taking NBME and i scored low on them.

I will take another NBME in about 10 days from now, revising all the subjects I scored below average but i am confused whether to postpone my exam which is on march 2nd or wait till next NBME.

If I don't change the dates now may be the desired dates wont be available then, how many weeks should I postpone my exam ,,,,,any advice ,,,,,,,,

I think you should postpone it for at least 3 weeks.

Well... In all honesty

I wouldn't change your test dates based on one exam result... What you should be more worried about is the consistency of your marks within a set range.

Anyone can have a good or bad exam at certain times that weight on testing certain topics more than other exams, Soooo lets say after you do 3-4 exams... You will begin to have more of a idea of where your predicted score will be around.

hello,

I am having the same problem as well. i did well on uworld but nbme score is low around 63% and is consistent. I dont know what i should do to improve it as i was getting around 70s in uworld.

Do i need to revise kaplan more or just go with first aid, and if i need to postpone my exam then how long should it be for??

thanks!
