Smile A little help for a new guy! :)

Hi everyone. I'm currently in my 4th year of medicine and I have just decided I want to try the USMLE after my studies. I'm an IMG from Europe.
I'm an average student in my university but I'm willing to start working ahead of time and fill in all the gaps I have in my knowledge.
Here is my question: I found a lot of stuff on the internet for the preparation of the USMLE Step 1,but almost everything I find is different.
Some say Kaplan Videos and Kaplan Lecture Notes are the best, some say some other books (Like First Aid or BRS Physiology or Goljan Pathology,High yield books and many many more...) but everyone says different, and I'm not sure what's actually GOOD and what's ENOUGH for preparing the exam.
Actually I would like someone to tell me what are the best books, videos, audios,or whatever on all of the subjects for preparation of the Step 1??? Since I have a lot of time (like 2.5 years ) I want to take it slow but be ready on time.
Thanks in advance and greetings to everyone!

Hello.
I give you my opinion. First, everyone has their opinion. I tell you what I use. I use Kaplan videos and books, except pathology. I use BRS physiology that supplement with kaplan physiology. For pathology golja I really like it (I recommend it because you have time), others advise Pathoma for pathology (because it is concise and good resource.) First Aid is God, you need this book . Qbank (USMLEWORLD IS GOD), other people recommend kaplan qbank and USMLERX. Good luck

Default Thanks!

Thanks a lot.
That's what I decided too. I'm gonna start with Kaplan Videos and Lecture notes.
When I get to Physiology I'll complement it with BRS Physiology and when I get to Pathology I'll do Goljan Rapid Review and Audio lectures.
In the meantime I'll review every chapter with First Aid.
For all the rest I'll stick with Kaplan videos+lecture notes or check something on the internet if I can't understand.
And for the questions,USMLE World Qbank + NBME tests.
Again, thanks a lot for the suggestion.
