Unhappy 4 Days left ...and feeling LOST

I was supposed to take this test 10 days ago, but I came down with a heavy case of Bronchitis and had I gone to the exam then, I probably would have had all the head sets thrown at me for my constant and irritative coughing. I felt lost then and I still feel the same now. Can't say I gained too much from an extra 10 days because I spent lots of it getting bed rest and under antihistamines.
Anyway, now I am in a situation where I am feeling crazy. I still have not managed to get through FA completely..have a few more sections left. And I have not done NBMEs 5+6. Think I will have to skip 5 because short of time. I have a notebook of UW notes that I NEVER got to and I am feeling very sad about that because I worked so hard on it. Still have a kaplan subscription that I barely used. Haven't been doing much questions, thanks to FA.

My question now is ... what should I do with these last 4 days...
rip through as much FA as a I can?
Drop FA and go read some UW notes?
continue with only NBMEs?

I still need some time to get some labs down and look at scans and xrays.

My NBME 3 + 7 were good, 4 much better (the last one I did, but I am told this is relatively easier).
The truth is when I do an NBME , its alright with silly mistakes here and there of course, but then I look at FA and I am just shocked at the volume of stuff I had forgotten so fast.

Please someone give me advice. No one in my entire family can understand what I am going through. I have no one to talk to.
I really need some sincere advice.

Thank you.

Stay calm

I know this would sound difficult at this time, but just try to relax and let your mind rest now. Your starting to panic and that is the worst thing you can do at this point. During the next few days, your going to have to relax and rest the best you can. This USMLE exam requires you to have good rest a few days before the exam.. No one really gets much sleep the night before the USMLE.. I sure as hell didn't, i didn't even get 1 second of sleep... Just layed there and did nothing.. But i didn't feel the sleep deprivation during my exam because of the good nights rest the few days before.

I would suggest only to do light reading from now on for the USMLE. Look at graphs or pictures of common usmle pictures.. Just light stuff. You will not be able to learn anything during these next coming days and thats perfectly normal to feel. Just Rest, Relax, Light Reading, and most of all... Enjoy this time! Your taking your first steps toward a medical career! You should be damm well proud of it. Maybe just flash through the last sections of your first aid book quickly, just look at the topic and think about it in your head and see how much you kno.

Good luck to you and your usmle examination. You will make this forum proud!

As always, you are the comforting voice in this forum.
At this point, don't have a choice but to calm myself down a little and leave the rest to God.
Thank you.
