Kaplan Medical Do Kaplan lecture notes change?

I am looking into buying the 2008 or 2009 version of the Kaplan lecture notes. Is there a big difference in the types of subject matter or questions asked? I plan to take the test in summer of 2012. And if there is a difference, in what subjects?

Thank you! any help is appreciated.

I suggest you get the latest 2011 version

The notes are changing, not because anatomy has changed but because Kaplan know what questions will come this year and next year and so on and so they focus on the topics that will come in the exam for that year.

Just as an update, I noticed my 2012 anatomy book has a lot of differences from my 2011 book.

the new pharm book (2012) is reviewed again.. this time by fischer. so i guess u shud get the latest notes...

i gave my exam in 2011 jan.. and i reffered to the kaplan notes from 2007-2008 and videos from then... and i FAILED>...

now giving my exam again in jan 2012.. new notes.. new lectures.. (latest)

concepts are the same.. on the large.. but are just taken ONE MORE STEP IN DEPTH and its the smaller things that make all the difference.
trust me.. please dont make the mistake i made!

I feel like the 2010 notes are a lot more reviewable.
THey have big headings and then spaced out points underneath.

So you can just highlight the heading and the key points and read it in fast review bullet form method.

As for the 2012 book its like just bolded words with big squished together paragraphs after, it's ok for the first read, but very hard to do a quick review after and pick out high yield points.

I'm thinking of switching books.
