Default advice

Hey guys, Can anyone advice me! what's the best method to study with lecture notes and videos ? Should I read first the notes and then watch the videos like a complement ? or can I just read some topics and for others just look some videos ? or it only works if you do both ?

thank you in advance for your advices !

it all depends on how u can remember better.. for me going through videos first and then reading the same topic works the best..

With Kaplan, I first skimmed quickly through the chapter and then watched the videos (anywhere between 1.3-1.5x, sometimes more). I felt this was the best way. Alternatively, for some topics, I would read each topic (the one with the bold heading) and then go and watch the video.

I don't know if what I did helps but I do have a general idea now.

Default It depends...

As someone already said, it depends on how you learn, but the Kaplan system is pretty much based on 3 readings of the books. The first reading is a fast one you can do that while watching the videos and that allows you to take notes of things said in the videos that are not in the books; for most people that works. The second reading is a more thoroughly one, you really sit down to learn and memorise the material, read the notes you previously took and such.
The third one is more useful to remember things once again, this is a faster one.

I also advice you that once you are done reading a book in the second lecture (if you decide to do it like that) is start taking banks of that subject right away and then add the books and subjects as you read them and of course our best friend, First Aid.

Good luck with your studies!!
