Default Sounds crazy plan !

Hello ,
I'm an IMG and I study medicine ....
Currently am in the first year , so I have 3 summer vacations are coming !
My college's system is pbl so I confused how to study with this system !
However, I made my own plan
First vacation : I'm planing to finish microbiology, biochemistry(I'm a biochem geek so it seem to be easy ),physiology, anatomy > because I have done some of these subjects and I'm familiar with them.
Second vacation : pathology & pharmacology > at that time pharma suppose to be finished.
Third vacation : review

What do you think guys

Default Here is one reply

Studying for USMLE varies from people to people, what may work for one, maybe doesn't work for the other. I only have one thing though...it's stuyding subjects with what? 3 years of difference, how do you plan to keep things fresh? USMLE is not always about knowing it all, but knowing what they ask you and how to answer the questions. So maybe when you're done you'll find yourself having to go over all the subjects thoroughly again. (?)

But giving it a first try is not so crazy if you ask me, go ahead. Whatever you do don't forget to take qbanks and study fro the latest FA available when you're going to take your step.

Good luck!

Default Thanks for your reply

I desided to do that because I knew that usmle doesn't test your recall ability, it tests your understanding. Therefore, it seems ok to understand even if it seems much earlier
