Post Kpln Dx Test 35% Step 1 course and getting ready for the Study Plan

Hi everybody in this awesome forum

i'm an IMG and i'm starting this monday my studying process for the step 1 at Kpln

I've just took my Diagnostic exam and i got a sad 35% Some of my college friends who have studied at kpln told me that score isn't that bad for a starting guy, do you guys know more about it?

I'm really excited and if you UF Gurus have some tips for me, i'll be grateful

A diagnostic test is hardly telling of how you'll perform. Focus on preparation and assessments after that.

Good luck!

A sincere advice for u mate...

MEMORIZE EVERYTHING IN FIRST AID like religious scholars memorize Holy books..

I strongly think (from my experience) that even an un-annotated FA can get you AT LEAST 220.

I've seen at FA web page that it has several errata posted by common users, but just some OFFICIAL errata. I know that the FA is the BIBLE for the Step 1, and i've just made my order for it

hi, i took Kaplan course too and so funny i got 38% on my dx test
about to give my step1 test next month and my scores have increased in qbanks and NBME a LOT.
of course the final veredict will be evidenced by my step1 which ill be posting.

but the main point is that you need to UNDERSTAND those kaplan books and once you understood everything move on and MEMORIZE on FA.
youll see how our knowledge and scores improve in qbanks.
GOOD LUCK!!
