Listening Is it going to be enough?

Hey Guys,

I could use some advice. I'm in my 4th semester of Med School, and will be taking my Step 1 this June. I've been with my FA since day 1 and have always used it to supplement my studying in class. During the breaks from school I'd review with the Kaplan videos the courses I did that semester. I started doing questions in a Qbank at the end of 2nd semester and have continued since then, but not many, like 10-20 a day.
My original plan was to do at least 50 a day but with my studying for the classes I'm taking at the moment I find it hard to find the time to set aside and do questions after I've already tired myself out from trying to learn the material for class.

My scores in the Qbanks are about in the 55-60 range right now and I have yet to do any kind of self assessment exams.

I'll be taking the Kaplan review course from March till May. It'll be M-F 9-5 kinda thing so most of my day will be IN Kaplan. My current plan is to just fully focus on Kaplan during the day and just do questions at night (at least 50) and study off the questions and annotate the FA.

Do you guys think this is enough or should I supplement with other books like Gojan? or some of the HY series? I don't want to spread my resources out too much cause then I'll just feel overwhelmed by all the books.

Any suggestions would be great!

Thanks in advance!

Arrow Stick to what you are doing

You are the only one who can decide whether it's enough or not. We are all different in our background knowledge and IQ level and memorization capacity.

Some students can ace the exam with FA only, some need to add Kaplan, some need to add more books.

I'd say you stick to your plan. Few months before the expected exam date, Do an assessment exam (preferably NBME) and see where you are.
