Question Nbme 4, q3

a 77 year old pt has repeated episodes of clumsiness of hand, facial swelling and difficulty speaking. carotids are normal on doppler. what is the diagnosis? and what is the treatment??

History of transient ischemic attacks. W would give aspirin with proven mortality benefit. Many other choices are salicylic acids or release salicylic acid, but not aspirin which is acetylsalicylic acid.
