Question Do we need to memorize the numbers of US Health Care?

Hi,
I have a question, I have started behaviour sciences and I want to know that there are data given in almost every line that 10 percent commit suicide cuz of that and 50 percent attempt suicide cuz of that, do we have to memorize that data? it seems pretty hard for me.

What do u all think?

Smile Oh numbers..!

The truth is, those numbers aren't very crucial. I personally enjoy reading those but what matters for the exam is for you to have a general idea about those figures. e.g. 10-15% of Schizophrenics die of suicide simply translates "SOME of them do" but when you say 40-50% it means "MANY" & when its 80-90% it means "MOST". You will almost NEVER see such figures on the test because such figures could differ in different texts and in the end, its important for you to have an idea and not necessarily a figure in mind
