Default help!! exam in 3 weeks

Hi guys,
I have my step 1 in 3 weeks, nbme 15 today was 213. How do I bring up my score? If you have any suggestions of how I can bring my score up to at least 240, I will appreciate it.
Thanks guys

Try to memorize first aid. But not sure if it would work. Also dont worry because NBMEs are not that accurate.

I do have an exam, too. Sometime in three weeks. Still have so much to remember, not even sure if I can make it. I was talking to a friend who took an exam and he told me you should know FA from too to bottom.

Good luck to everyone!

thanks faith255.

No I did not think it was harder, I had done only forms 7 and 12 previously so maybe I am not exposed enough, but in my opinion, I thought it was similar to those.
Thanks for your advice, I am back to FA and Pathoma now, one more week to go, pray for me

Thank you for your help.
I think your friend is right, just that FA is really dry and difficult to understand especially if you did not have good basic sciences background like me, but oh well, lets see how it goes.
Goodluck to you as well

I so agree with you. My basis is extremely bad, too, since it's been ages. And for subjects that I couldn't understand or remember, I was using lectures. Ugh..more I think, more nervous I get.

P.s. Goljan lectures might be of a big help once you're thru FA. If you need lectures, let me know

Thanks Tokyoite.
I have goljan lectures, I have actually been through those once, do you think I should listen to them again? I have also done uworld twice, not sure why my nbme is so low, very frustrating

Not sure about that. Personally for me Goljan lectures weren't of a big help, as I easily loose conentration if I can't follow the text while listening to lectures. But people are different. If you're, how do I put this, audio-friendly, which I'm not, you probably should. Otherwise just read usmle. A friend of mine did neither nbme tests, nor lectures. Only FA and uworld, and he got a decent score (though not the one which would put him through diagnostics). Good luck!!!

I'm so behind the schedule actually ))
