Help

b. Causes of endothelial cell injury
• Stress areas in the vasculature (e.g., bifurcations), HTN, smoking tobacco,
homocysteine, oxidized LDL, small dense LDL
c. Cell response to endothelial injury (“reaction to injury” theory)

according to Goljan´s
finally found an answer.
starts FIRST with any of these stressors, THEN ENDOTHELIAL CELL DYSFUNCTION issues, a friend of mine got the question
"which comes FIRST in mechanism of atheroma plaque formation" and they where both choices end. cell dyfunction and ROS species injury.
i guess the latter one was the real answer.

any opinions??

Risk factors for endothelium damage :
