Thanks for the feedback, it seems extremely reasonable to me, I use it now as one of my primary resource to study (together with pathoma and usmleRx and uworld), when I see a concept that I am not familiar with I expand on it using other resources.

Medbullets is an okay source for basic review, but the questions are no substitute for UWorld.

I have found many of their sources to be suspect or the person who writes the questions doesn't interpret the cited reference correctly.

Plus, they often cite Uworld question banks as a source, which boggles my mind. Especially since since you don't know when or if the question was update or not.

Has anyone recently used Medbullets? If so, is it better for start or end of prep?

I used medbullets in the beginning of my Step 1 prep. For me Medbullets was useful, since I could see entire content of topics and it made me feel more comfortable using FA as a primary source for preparation.

Smile Medbullets.com

Hi everyone,
I just finished the 64 day medbullets step 1 review program.
It was really good, It helped me brush up on all those minute details. Unfortunately, it can be a bit cumbersome if you are also determine to read through 50-100 pages of FA and still do a few bank questions each day.
All in all it was great.

Is it ok to have this qBank for group study? We want to have a try but not sure if it will work well.

Hi meya2016,

The medbullets bank is fine if you still have a lot of time to study and you are trying to learn your stuff. It certainly helped me learn some principles.

However, having started Uworld about a month ago, and with all the reviews of step 1 test takers, I strongly believe that Uworld is the way to go.

Ultimately, it would depend on how much time you have before your exam and how efficient you will be using the two qbanks. I have heard people say use one in exam mode (.i.e all the subjects) and the other for individual subject study.

For me, I like being organized and doing things one at a time.
What ever you decide make sure it augments your studying.
All the best.
