Default why increased LH in cryptorchidism?

UNILAT cryptorchidism leads to NO affection of LEYDIG, therefore normal testosterone but FA says INCREASED LH, doesnt make sense...?? please someone explain

Testosterone is produced by leydig under the influence of LH
Testosterone production from cryptorchid testes is low
Therefore LH is increased to meet up with the normal testosterone levels

I think so i might be wrong not sure
