Default Antigen-ecity ?

Why is it so that antigens which are not susceptible to tissue enzymes are not antigenic?
INFACT , the epitopes are present on the surface of antigen and if the antigen is not susceptible to tissue enzymes , then it renders the antigen with a big molecular weight which should have been more antigenic..but it isnt so !
please explain anybody ?
