Genetics PKU Risk, can't understand it

Here is notes from Kap.
I am having difficulties of the frequency of PKU risk. Risk for child should be 1/4 right ? But the notes say 1/2.
Please help to get correct concept.

That depends on the first part of the question. If the woman is a carrier, then you are right, the chance is 25% for a child of two carriers. However, if the woman has PKU, then they are right, the chance is 50% for a child of a carrier and a homozygote...
