Default Peroxisomal Beta-Oxidation?

Is any ATP generated in peroxisomes during Beta oxidation of very long chain fatty acids?

The peroxisomes are only in charged of "plucking" the hydrogen ions of the VERY LONG fatty acids ( >24 carbons eg. phytanic acid), and after it reduces it to 14 carbons ships them to the mitochondria for the regular beta oxidation, the regenerated NADH and FADH2 done on the peroxisome go to their normal place (mitochondria) for going into ETC, meaning for each NADH 3 atps and FADH2 2 atps generated.

think of the peroxisome just helping the mitochondria reducing these very large
fatty acids so the mitochondria does not get overworked

hope i helped
