Question When to start doing questions?

hi guys, just wanted to know... If im doing the right thing

whenever I start a news subject (physiology for example) I read the Kaplan notes then do the video lectures, followed by another book like BRS physiology for understanding. After doing this and finishing a topic (endocrinology) I go on to the next one (respiratory) and do the same Kaplan notes/videos and BRS.

Also what I do is that I write down notes on each topic that help me memorize the material a little easier. the whole thing takes about 6-8 hrs a day. After a couple of weeks of this process I finish reading the topic of physiology. Now, I wanted to know:

1. is this process good or is it a waste of time, if so any solutions you can offer which are less time consuming

2. how do you make sure that you have fully covered the material, by doing questions or by revising the topics

3. what questions should I start with, BRS (end of chapter questions), or kaplan (end of chapter questions) or Pretest questions or should I just go directly to major q banks like Uworld / Kaplan q bank? I am really confused about this one as there are soo many q banks and I thought I should save the Uwolrd/kaplan for last after going through all the topics...?

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Thumbs Up Your plan is excellent

Your plan is excellent and this is the best way to do it.
After finishing your primary reading, solidify your knowledge with questions. These questions can be from a question book rather than a question bank in the beginning.
To find out which question book is the best look here

There's a study method called (Zum Zum Method) that follows the same pattern, to read about it look here

After finishing all subjects, you can start doing the qbanks. To find out which qbank is best, have a look here

Also, this issu has been polled here
