Australia Just wanted to say hi from Australia

I am an Australian medical student. I want to become more active on this forum because I don't feel like my medical school is intellectually stimulating. I have been using USMLE resources and find them a joy to use before I read "official" textbooks such as Guyton & Hall, Last's anatomy etc.

Although I have not decided whether I will sit the USMLE or not I certainly want to polish my medical knowledge throughout next few years. I may not be very smart but I do enjoy working and studying (except around exam times, have an exam next week ).

Anyway, good luck to you all.

Hi ALittleTeaPot...welcome to the forum. This is a great forum not only for student preparing for USMLE, but also for anyone who is interested in sharing medical knowledge in general. I never found any other forum as good as this one, the forum staff are great, and the members are willing to help each other.

Enjoy !!!

Welcome!

Haha - I don't envy you Guyton & Hall, it's not a very readable book (although the design changes in the 12th edition are certainly for the better) - mine went pretty much untouched as I went to internet sources and Costanza for physio...

This is a great place to work through concepts and read through threads where others have done so - the members and staff are knowledgeable, helpful and polite!

See you around!
