Kaplan Medical Kaplan Qbook versus Qbank

Hi friends!

Question:
Are questions from Kaplan Qbook simpler than Kaplan online Qbank, or the same difficulty and difference only in quantity?

Thank you!

Qbook is simpler than the kaplan qbank.. The kaplan qbank has been completely redone and is now as hard as u world... but at the same time, it maintains it's difficulty to the actual exam... So kaplan qbank is the best representation of the real exam.. U world is only a learning qbank, not a testing qbank in my opinion.

I agree with you that Kaplan Qbank is getting harder now it's merely because they put very picky, needy greedy questions that is not asked in the real exam. Based on other students testimony, the real exam demands conceptual thinking and UW qbank is great learning tools for that. I think NBME is still the closest representation of real exam.

Hi pash,

The latest edition of the Step 1 notes are 2010-2011, but the updates to the Qbook were minimal.
