Hi, i have not taken it yet, but clearly is an intimidating question, however if you see the big picture try to find the answer with common sense, if the person is normal cause he concentrated the urine after water deprivation test most likely his serum osmolarity will be increased (normal is 290 osm) so ill go with C or D and probably will be answering D, let me know if im right

Thanks for reply
Correct answer is given B
Although i answered it with logic only (maybe a silly one lol) i.e the person is water deprived so he must conserve water so ADH (+) and diluting Blood osmolarity and between option A and B i was stuck and since he is just 24 hours on water deprivation with intact all functions so picked B and was correct but when reached for explanation, they gave huge calculation stuff

oh gosh, you are right, i went thinking with aldosterone, aldosterone is primordial when losing vascular tone am i right?
ADH takes over when increased osmolarity as in this scenario...
so here correct, there is increased osmolarity secondary to the deprivation, hypothalamus responded to the increase in osmolarity.

please tell me this is not nbme 15 if it is you should change the topic to which nbme it belongs to avoid exposing the qs on people who want to do it.
