Default Anatomy Study Techniques

How do you guys study anatomy?

With Physio, Biochem, Pharma and Patho, I just read, watch videos and do qbanks. (I used Kaplan lec notes with videos)

But after doing the same style in anatomy, my scores in qbank are significantly lower than the first four. Tried reading High Yield Anatomy, but I feel a lot of concepts are not well explained.

Shall I shove all the info inside my head? Shall I use an atlas?

If you want to do well in anatomy make sure your embryology is solid. As long as you remember your embryo you will be able to answer most anatomy questions. Of course there will be the odd BRO image pointing to a random muscle... Those are impossible to anticipate so make those a secondary concern. Just focus on the Balkan embryo and anatomy videos. The lecturer is fantastic. Once you have that down you can look at an atlas of you want to brush up on the general location of things. But if you concentrate on knowing how the organs are formed you will be golden

Like seraphim said, a good embryo knowledge is good and important, but most of anatomy is memory, some things you just have to know and learn by memory, so I'd recommend some flashcards systems like quizlet, there are many there with HY info focused on USMLE that can help you remember simple facts, signs for nerve or muscle damage and so on.
