Bacteria Microbiology question in a healthy 5 year old girl

which of the following organisms can be isolated from the vagina of a healthy 5 year-old girl

A: candida
B: lactobacillus
C: neisseria
D: staphylococcus
E: streptococcus

The answer is D staphylococcus

* The vagina of prepubertal girl and post menopausal women is colonized by colonic and skin bacteria, which incluse Staphylococcus epidermitis

* Lactobacillus, candida and streptococcus colonized the vagina of women of child-bearing age

* the presence of Neisseria gonorrhea in the vagina of 5 year -old girl, suggest a sexual abuse

with this kind of question; mistake are common
