Listening Last week prep

Hey guys,
As I am rapidly trying to read through as much FA as possible per day for my last few weeks, I feel like I'm just memorizing it and forgetting the concepts.
Don't know if this is normal but I honestly am reading through it so fast because of time constraints that I sometimes forget WHY something happens.
This is probably a really stupid question but as you guys can tell I'm quite nervous and feel I have forgotten a lot recently. I just wish these concepts will be remembered on test date.
Is this normal?

Yes, this is normal.

Try to mix up your study days with some questions also, this will give you some comfort.

I know what you're going through. I think it's totally normal to feel like your forgetting. But I'm pretty sure you will remember most concepts when you are asked and given choices. Try to keep the same pace as previously. Good luck on your exam!

Yeah we are all def going through the same thing right now lol But you know you just have to keep reminding yourself that you have studied long and hard for this, and it HAS to come back to you on the exam lol

I really think that we will def recognize things. A friend of mine took the exam the other day and was telling me how there was only one block where had more than the usual "marked". All the other blocks he said were pretty normal ! like it all comes back to you or youve seen it at least somewhere!! And of course the biggest advice was FA FA FA FA!! in the last 2 weeks of studying!!

What are you guys doing studying wise towards the end? I am just going through FA everyday. I kinda stopped doing questions because even in DIT, he mentioned how towards the end of your studying, you should be done with practicing doing questions and what not. The end part is to make sure you have all the knowledge. Because if you think about it, after all you need the knowledge to answer the questions!!

So yeah Ive split up each day into 2-3 topics from FA, will do that and then obv the day before the exam go out n have fun. But day 2 and day 3 prior to the exam I just wanna take a practice exam to see if Im where I wanna be. But at this point Im not going to postpone lol Im just going to take it because honestly Ive studied to the max.

Just keep in mind that we cant know EVERYTHING! but we've come a long way and everyone pray for us all! thanks = )

heyy!! I am 13 days away!!! = )

I have a question for you guys though. I wanted to take NBME 7 since it is the best predictor, but you know I read something on another forum. This person said it was the hardest exam they have ever taken in their life!! lol that kinda scares me!!! what do you guys think??? Should I stick to NBME 6 ?? or go for 7 ?? I always have recommended people to do NBME 7 because Ive read how close it is to your actual score. But now someone saying its the hardest exam theyve ever taken lol kinda freaks me out!!

Would you rather have the hardest exam of your life sitting in the comfort of your own home, or have it sitting in that cold lonely prometric center?

Do 7! You'll be fine..

I think you should take NBME 7 regardless of what someone says! If anything, it will expose you to harder questions and make the exam easier (when you get to it) lol. Just my opinion, but if you're prepared and are ready for the step, you should definitely go through a NBME to know where you stand. As far as I've read and know, NBME 7 is the best predictor of the score so far.

I agree. Cautie Pie, you should def. take nbme 7 as soon as possible so it will give you a good 10 days to work on any weaknesses. It may be a hard exam but there is also a curve so regardless of how hard it is---the mark you'll get in the end will be the closest to what you will end up getting. You'll be pleasantly surprised Goodluck!
