Cool DIT helps improve when over 230?

Hello, i had to delay my test to 4 weeks from today.
i had a problem with my name so i had to change that with ecfmg and have to wait until they fix all that problem and AFTER issue a new permit with my new name.

my scores where: 224-NBME16 252-UWSA1
my question is as follows:
given that i have more time, i was thinking of DIT... but i dont know if i will be wasting my time given that i have read in other posts that it boosts your score when you are below 220.
will it make any difference in my actual score? is it basic stuff what they address in the videos? or should i just stick to UWORLD Notes+Pathoma+FA which was my original plan when my test was first week of june.

please help, i would like 240+ since i am IMG, but im not sure about my approach my last 4 weeks.

thanks in advance

the paperwork and name thing will take a week at most don't worry. they usually say 3 weeks but it takes one week.

dont do dit. dit brings score to 220ish. if you are already there simply do fa and uw.

good luck.

I had same problem and question that you had and decided to start it. I didnt like it. Although it adds some minor points ı dont think it is the one will boost your performance and help to reach your potential. I am not an expert and someone can easily prove me wrong by the way. But i think revising uworld and fa for the last month will make you reach your potential.

THANKS guys for all your kind replies.
very very helpful.
ill just stick to FA + pathoma + uworld.

@dr_kg you are right, it took them less than 3 days to fix my problem!!! they got me all stressed out telling me 10 days, lol.
the thing is my local prometric center is FULL in june, i was very lucky finding a date within the same month, the only available was june 20 so i had no choice

now what im facing is that i get bored while studying, i feel that i lost my drive, specially knowing that my date is so far.
i hope this doesnt bring my score down
ill still do my best.

good luck to all of you guys, thanks for helping.

DIT helps with blind-spots in FA. it helped me a lot when I sat for step 1. Make sure you do it well. Do not rush it. it would make sense at the end of the day. it can help you hit 240+. Goodluck.
