Agree with Tima,
Fungal Infections have lymphocytes, increased protein, and decreased glucose. However, granulomatous (chronic) meningitis such as TB will have the same plus some other cells might be seen such as plasma cells, and macrophages. The major differential between these two and acute viral meningitis is that in viral we have normal glucose (we still may see increased protein in viral menin) |
