Default Slow reader or not?

I am worried about my speed. Normally when i study I first give one simple read to the chapter(relaxed just to understand with no worry for memorization) and then I give one serious read. This with a big textbook(eg CMMRS or Goljan) would lead to a result of 20-25 pages per day!

Is this enouph or to slow? How productive other students were?

Thank you!

Unfortunately I believe based on the result that I moght spend to much time over a single chapter.
