First Aid I don't know what to choose: First Aid 2011 or 2012.

Hi everyone!
I have already registered for Step 1 on November 2011 but now I feel it isn't enough time for preparation and I want to extend eligibility period. I've decided to take the exam on January or February 2012.
My question is - Should I buy First Aid 2011? or Should I wait for new First Aid edition 2012?
People told me that sometimes National Boards change the interface of USMLE on computer screen.
So, I don't exactly know what to choose.

Thanks fellows))

I think you should buy 2011. You should start looking/reading it now, so you get used to the book. If you buy it in 2012 you might not have enough time to go thru the book like you would like to.

From what I have read, the versions of the First Aid are pretty similar year to year. Just some minor changes...

Hope this helps!!

Buy the 2011 and start studying it. I'm taking mine in 2011 most likely Feb and I will be using the FA 2011. I don't want to wait around.

I'd say go for FA 2011.
