Default To do or not to do DIT

Hi guys,

My test is in 5 weeks. I don't know if doing DIT last 3 weeks or focusing on other sources.

Is DIT usefull?
I really don't want to waste the last weeks..

What do you recommend?

I used a lot of material but in a long time, while working. FA 3-4 times, uworld 1X, microbio rid simple 2X, Pathoma2X, Brs physio 1X, behavioural lectures1X, Biochem kaplan video1X. As I mentioned before, I studied maybe half program while working until 4 weeks ago. At the moment, i am only focusing on my weakest area (like bioch.). I ve divided my day in 3 blocks: 4 hrs in the morning, 4 hrs in the afternoon and 2 at night. I ve just finished uworld and i am planning to repeat it again. I ve done a NBME 2 weeks ago and I scored 210. I would like to match for General Surgery. Maybe DIT could rappresent an easy way ti review all but maybe not the best.. What do you recommend?

personally i haven't done DIT, but about 50% of the ppl i know say DIT is a waste of time because all he does is read FA to you, and he has a workbook with simple recall questions, and the other 50% of ppl say DIT was good and it bumped their score by about 20 marks ... so i guess it works for some ppl but it doesn't for others .... the reason i asked u what ur nbme scores were is now what u can do is go through DIT and take another nbme after you are done with DIT, and see if it helped u or not, wether your score jumped by about 20 marks or not ... or u can go by what half the students say that its boring all he does it read FA to u....i also know students that have a hard time focusing to sit down and read FA so its somewhat useful to them as well... hope that helps

I don't think you have enough time to do DIT. It pretty much holds your hand and reads FA to you. If you're looking for something new try Picmonic, Pathoma, or do more UWORLD questions.

DIT is waste of time unless you are blind and need someone to read FA to you.
