Smile Just took step1!!!

Hey guys, thank you all for all the posts that you make here, they really helped! I took step 1 yesterday and man do I feel relieved!!!

I wanted to say a few things for those who are about to take step1. I had been hearing a lot that loads of genetics and molecular bio being added to the test and was kinda scared of it but that didn't seem the case with my exam. Whatever was there in the exam was appropriate, nothing out of this world stuff! So don't be scared at all. The interface was TOTALLY like uworld! Those who are up for offline uworld should seriously reconsider. I felt like I was doing uworld again, it really did help and lowered the anxiety.

If you have achieved your target score with NBMEs, go for the real thing then! There's no point in delaying it. I felt that I would have done the same had I taken the exam a week back as most of the stuff was conceptual and those basic concept take weeks to develop, studying the last day would only fatigue your brain when it should be relaxing.

I don't know how my result will be but hey at least I am free for now! Best of luck to all of you, thank you very much for your support and I'll be back with my result post.

your time will come too man!

NBME 3: 540/231. A month before exam. But I already knew a few questions in this one, realized while taking it.

NBME 5: 580/240. Ten days before exam.

I would say do Uworld closer to the exam. The exam seemed more like uworld to me than Kaplan qbank.
