Official Medical Institutes NBME vs ECFMG -----> high yield???

hey guys right now m doing ma bicochem from kaplan videos

just studying glycolysis

here prof sam turco used a lot of d/d between high yield and low yield during whole pathway of glycolysis and other chapters

my question is that NBME deals with AMGs and ECFMG deals with IMGs
so wt bout high/low yield of ECFMG...

y these professors dont ever talk bout ECFMG...?

does NBME makes test material for steps? or what???

Default Clearing the confusion

The institute that makes the USMLE question and assessment exams is called NBME.

The ECFMG does not make the questions, it just deals with IMG registration and licensing and stuff like that, but they don't do the technical part (the questions), that's all done by the NBME.

Therefore, you will listen to people saying high yield for the NBME exam or high yield for the boards, but they won't say high yield for ECFMG.
