Unhappy Saturated and morale going down

Hello

I am a graduate of last year, started prep for Step 1 In November, Having done 2 reads of KLN and GOLJAN RR for Pathology....In my 2nd read I started annotating FA with Kaplan ...and I think I lost my track there bcz of change of visual memory OF Kaplan to FA...Didn't do a a good 2nd read I think...Did Kaplan Q bank offline About 60% With a score of about 65
After 2nd read I subscribed to UW online for 1 month...started poorly with early 50s score...Unfortunately about 2 days of subscription have passed and i have been able to complete about 30 percent questions ....a bit bcz of some commitments and a bit bcz of my own laziness....My score has improved to 61 PERCENT Steadily but still I am getting many questions wrong .....I read FA with Kaplan once ..subject wise, haven't read it together or in entirety....

I am getting saturated and morale going down...

Please suggest how shud i proceed from now for max performance ....i Want to put in hard 2,3 months now but cant figure out a plan for maximum performance ......

Take a full day off, have loads of chocolate and relax. I'd say you should go through Kaplan again, this time using FA together. Many people say that they have found using FA from their first read of Kaplan useful. And it shouldn't take you a long time, since you have already been through everything. Best of luck.

Wat about UWORLD? Should i extend it for one more month? Doing 2 blocks a day and reading explanations of all questions effectively takes away whole day...How should I manage books with UW??

Arrow Leave UW and go back to your KLN

ZumZum method specifically addressed this issue of losing visual memory when you switch from KLN to FA and that's why he advised the reverse (annotating KLN with FA info).

I'd say you should consolidate your KLN grip. Leave the UW subscription right now, go back to your KLN and make sure you know it inside out. People have been reading it several times to get a good hold of it as you can see in this poll here
How many times to repeat Kaplan

Once you are done with Kaplan, buy a new subscription to UW and ace it all the way to your exam day.

I did a very good first read of all course...then flipped thru this form and it was at zumzum where i read to add Kaplan onto FA..and keep FA for the last read...It sounded good but i think i wasted time adding heaps of things and not consolidating them ...

So ur saying that i shud not extend my UW subscription?I found many ppl telling that UW has many new concepts nd u shud do it early rather than at end...so that u can revise it in the last reads..please figure out a plan for me ...i want to give my exam by end of July at max....

In my opinion, it's wrong to start UW before fully grasping the concepts from your primary materials (KLN and FA).
UW should be used to enforce your prep, not as a primary material, so yes I think you should stop doing UW and go take 2-4 weeks of consolidation and postpone your exam to end of August.
That's just my opinion, let's see if others have another suggestion for you.

I already gave my opinion.
You should leave UW immediately, don't do any more questions.
The beauty of UW is that when you are fully prepared.

I personally think, you should go through kaplan and FA and be ready and thorough with it. Once you are done with those two, get on with UWorld and then in a month you can give your exam... All the best

That's sort of my strategy...be as thorough as possible with all my resources before starting UWorld. Right now I am 75% done with Kaplan Qbank and 65% done with gunner training. I am planning to finish these and repeat some of my weaker areas in Qbank, then take an NBME. If I don't do well, I will do another pass through FA. If I am within 20-30 points of my target score, I will do UWorld, random timed 100 questions per day and go take the exam.
