Hi guys!
First of all... If I took my Step1 on May 27 (was a Tuesday) that means that I will be receiving my results tomorrow or June 18???? thanks in advance.

Second... for the ones that are still studying please read well
1. Micro (DETAILS)
2. Pregnancy (Use DIT/World)
3. PTH (All its regulation forward and backwards)
4. General Path part in FA14
5. Do UWorld twice... build endurance.

thanks!

Thanks for your input. I think results for people taking exam between midMay to end of june is going to take slightly longer to be reported according to usmle website.
Cud you please elaboration how was the exam difficulty in comparison to UW and NBME's? What resources did you use for all subjects?
Micro detalis in FA are enuf?
Did you feel Kaplan, FA, UW were good enuf for answering most of the Q? Everyone coming out of the exam recently seem to be saying that its much harder than UW and NBME and someone even said only 40% can be answered from kaplan,FA, Uworld.
Thanks for your help in advance.

in my experience..
The only class you need more than First Aid is Pathology and you can compliment it with Pathoma. I found that DIT+Pathoma+ 2xUWorld+2 Rounds of FA is more than enough... Also, do every NBME +UWSA to get used to the length of the test and you can test yourself. In terms of feelings post test... anxiety+the feeling of "everything that I missed" Is there... but my numbers were +220

In terms of details... think of NBME 15 and 16... just like that... plus several "research" questions in which you need to read between the lines.. by example one of them was about CD25=Treg....as simple as that.. look a lot of pics... a lot.....

Thanks so much for your response. Do you mean your nbme scores were 220+? Sorry didn't get what you meant.
-Did you do the whole UW 2X or just did the wrongs and marked ones the second time?
- For pics what source do u recommend? FA pics ?
- Exam wise you felt the level of difficulty was just like nbme 15/16 with similar Q stem length?
--Were the research Q doable or were impossible?
--Overall do you think with using the sources you mentioned it is possible to answer atleast 80-85% of the test Q without too much trouble?

Sorry for asking so many Q. Please don't mind it. Its just that with the change in exam content everyone who is yet to take the exam is quite stressed out especially after reports from many students that the exam has become very difficult than NBME and UW. Really appreciate your help.

1. UW2x and the last weeks just the wrongs/marked ones
2. Goljan is great in this subject (Rapid Review) also google it!! I mean it.. so many people have done a wonderful job ! by example "Hodgkin Lymphoma Usmle Step 1" you will get a lot of pics and will really help, also the explanations of UWorld, learningradiology, webpath, DIT has a lot of pics and the FA14 have a lots of new photos
3. Yes! Short Stems, really complicated answers...details oriented.
4. Totally doable. Take deep breaths, read well the question, most of them are simple in principle...
5. In my opinion, this will depend on the job you've been making the past two years rather than the job you can pull off in 6 months. And yes... if you've been doing a good job that's enough, also what's your "goal" and your timeframe... for me 220 and 3 months worked
