Question Is Kaplan notes and FA enough?

Hi guys

I am an IMG and I just started preparing for step 1. I have no one to guide me for the exam. I have brought Kaplan notes and FA. Will that be sufficient for a good score, also can somebody explain to me about review books, do I have to read review books after completing Kaplan notes.
plzzzz help me out.
any help would be greatly appreciated

id recommend u to go through the step 1 recommended threads and review the experiences posted by the step takers and then u can concliude how u should pace for the step 1 preparation .
No one is the best judge of u than ur self alone .. Find out which book suits u or not or which method appeals u ..
its all upto u to choose
u may need the kaplan dvds .
and the u waorld offline and online subscriptions .
i wish u all the best

well
there is a thankx tab as well to press
as i said before it all depends on the type of medical college u belong to
and what sort of student are u .
if u can grab a lot of information from a number of sources then u can use the review books . But if u are an average student then i reckon u should simply trust the kaplan ( and even if the subject matter is explained by any other book provided it is the recommended on for the steps preparation .. u can find the recommended books in the threads .. u can use them .. all according to ur taste buds ...), dvds and the first aid alone along with the q banks ..
there are a lot of students who do not use kaplan for a particular subject forexample if u do not like kaplan physiology then u can skip physiology and use the brs physiology instead and if u u still consider u have more thirst for the knowledge of physiology u can use even more of a review books .. the main point is just to collect high yield stuff and not useless details .. and at the same time make ur understanding of the subject clear .. thats it ..

In addition to the notes you need to solve as much mcqs as possible either form kaplan or UW. then have a rapid review on your notes before the exam.

the notes are enough but make sure you are scoring enough on the mcqs, otherwise you will need some dedicated books.
