Calendar One Month to go...

I'm a month or so (about 40days) away from Step 1.

I started Kaplan Qbank, and have gone through about 70% so far.

My question is, I've only done about 30% of UWorld, sometime last year during my 3rd semester while studying for my Path course, should I stop the Kaplan Qbank and start up UWorld? or finish Kaplan then go on to UWorld?

Any suggestions???

Thanks in Advance

Yeah, I think at this point you have to start working on UW. If you can do 2 blocks per day, it will take 4 weeks to finish it. Then if you still have time, you can go back to Kaplan Qbanks. Good luck

Doing UW would be preferrable than Kaplan Qbank. But don't leave Kaplan out. If you get time at the end, do them. The more questions you do, the higher you're likely to score.

Thanks for the advice guys!

I'm doing an NBME tomorrow to see where I stand. I've been studying since March. Our school requires us to take the Kaplan review course. So I go to Kaplan from 8-5 Monday - Saturday and study on my own after class everyday. The last day of the course is May 25th, and I'm hoping to take my step around the 16-17th of June.

I'll base it off the NBME results I get tomorrow, do you guys suggest any particular NBME form or are they all pretty much the same?

NBME 6 and 7, they are similar or a lil bit harder than the real exam, also give better prediction as long as you havent solved any NBME questions posted in this forum.

UW is more tough than Q bank and so practicing it will give you more confidence BUT it is very essential to solve at least all the QBook (book).

Ok thanks guys!

I was planning on doing form 12 tomorrow, and saving 6 and 7 till I get closer to the real thing as a better predictor.

The closer the date gets the more anxious I'm becoming...it's like i'm learning something new everyday and forgetting something old lol
